EdUBudgie Linux is a version of Ubuntu Budgie Linux pre-packaged with everything that a typical high school or university student should need to be successful in their student career.
EBL aims to be a stable, usable, feature-packed and complete Linux distribution. While at the moment this is essentially an Ubuntu Budgie clone with some additional packages installed and a few customizations pre-applied, it is an ever-evolving project and in the future will hopefully be a completed fork of its own.
The concept of EBL is to be an ideal distribution to be used on out-of-support Intel x86-based Google Chromebooks enabling school districts to save thousands or perhaps tens of thousands on purchasing new Chromebooks. It will, of course, work even better on a more powerful desktop or laptop, too.
