SharkLinux is a full-featured OS and desktop environment that performs on bare metal and is also 100% cloud compatible serving the GUI over a pre-installed VNC server. The project uses Ubuntu Xenial (16.04) LTS as the base and features MATE as the desktop environment. SharkLinux does not version its releases, it uses a rolling release model with frequent updates. SharkLinux was added to the list April 4, 2017. Build 4.13.0-17 was a major update, released November 11, 2017.
